A. Return & Cancellation Instructions
Introduction
Consumers — i.e. any individual acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside that individual's trade, business, craft or profession — are entitled to cancel or return any order under the following conditions.
Right to Cancel / Return
You have the right to cancel or return this contract within 30 days of delivery without giving any reason.
The 30-day period begins on the day you receive your order, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you receives the goods.
For customers in the European Union, this includes your statutory 14-day right of cancellation under EU consumer protection law. Oak & Gravel voluntarily extends this period to a total of 30 days from delivery for all customers worldwide.
To exercise your right to cancel or return, please inform us (Steffen Meisel, Muehlenstr. 8a, 14167 Berlin, Germany, Phone: +49 30 20967592, e-mail: care@oakgravel.com) of your decision by a clear statement (for example, by e-mail or letter). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the 30-day deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the period has expired.
Effects of Cancellation / Return
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the original delivery costs (except for any supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than our least expensive standard delivery), without undue delay and not later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to cancel. We may make a deduction for any loss in value of the goods if such loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return shipment, whichever is earlier.
You must send the returned goods back to us within 30 days of the delivery date. The return deadline is met if you ship the goods before the 30-day period has expired.
Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition and packaging. Custom or personalized items are not eligible for return. You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received is defective or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked shipping method so your return arrives safely. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue your refund within a few days, well within the statutory 14-day window.
Exclusions
The right to cancel or return does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized, nor to items marked as final sale.
The statutory 14-day right of cancellation under EU law does not apply to consumers whose residence and delivery address are outside of the European Union; however, our 30-day return policy still applies to those customers.
